CityFibre, the UK’s third digital infrastructure platform, has been awarded the Comms National Award for Best Channel Support Service in recognition of the superior levels of sales and marketing support it provides for wholesale partners. The company was highly commended in the Best Supplier Innovation Award category for its Ethernet Flex product.
Earlier in the year, CityFibre restructured its sales and marketing teams to focus on specific partner verticals. This enabled it to tailor support more effectively, providing specific advice and guidance, co-branded materials, and funded campaign support for wholesale partners delivering full fibre connectivity.
The award also recognised the recent promotions and incentives launched by CityFibre, such as the ‘90 days deferred billing’ and ‘buy now, pay later (or not at all)’ promotions. These were developed in direct response to partner feedback in order to support channel partners through the pandemic.

CityFibre, the UK’s third national digital infrastructure platform, has launched a new PWAN (Private Wide Area Network) promotion that offers half price set up and management fees to support its channel partners in delivering bespoke connectivity solutions that are flexible, secure, and reliable.
More businesses are now adopting hybrid working practices, with employees mixing home working with scheduled visits to the office. The PWAN is an ideal solution for these organisations as it provides a completely tailored solution that can connect anyone to the network from any location.
This latest promotion will enable channel partners to open up conversations with their business customers about their evolving requirements and how a Private WAN can give them the flexible and secure connections they need to support their employees and maximise productivity, wherever they are working.
CityFibre, the UK’s third national digital infrastructure platform, is offering its wholesale partners greater scope to support their business customers during COVID by launching an enhanced October promotion.
Following
a positive response to a recent promotion to defer its installation fee
on a 12-month contract to the last month of the term, CityFibre has now
taken this offer a step further with its enhanced promotion, which
reduces the monthly price on the 12 month contract to the same rate as
on a 36 month term.
Where the customer agrees to extend the
contract for a further 24 months, CityFibre will also waive the install
fee completely, so the monthly rental payment simply continues.
The company has been listed as a finalist in all the categories listed below, in recognition of its commitment to supporting every aspect of its channel partners’ needs – from the provision of dedicated support, to the quality and reliability of it’s network and services. The short-listings also recognise CityFibre’s outstanding sales and marketing performance throughout 2019 and its innovative approach to delivering full fibre connectivity across the UK.

CityFibre, the UK’s third national digital infrastructure platform, has announced a new initiative that helps channel partners support business customers during the COVID-19 impact by deferring billing on new Gigabit Ethernet installations for up to 90 calendar days.
The 90-day grace period applies from the installation date of new orders of CityFibre Ethernet Flex 1Gbps and CityFibre 1Gbps bearer-based Ethernet circuits, unless the customer requests the connection be activated sooner because they have returned to working from their premises. The initiative currently covers orders placed until the end of May 2020, and also includes existing orders that customers have put on hold.
The Government has declared that telecommunications infrastructure is critical to continue to allow both society and the economy to function and to enable rapid economic recovery when the crisis is over.
It has therefore requested that telecommunications operators continue to build as well as maintain networks throughout this period.
As a builder of critical digital infrastructure, CityFibre’s priorities are the health and safety of staff, contractors, customers and the general public; while ensuring the connectivity services we provide are uninterrupted and our build activities and supply relationships continue as normal.
